In each Thai Sports Massage session Leah is able to assess your individual needs and cater the massage to specifically address those issues. As you are gently moved into yoga-like stretches, Leah massages tight areas within the stretch to elongate and release the connective tissue and muscles.
Leah uses a combination of compression, cross fiber, pressure points, stretching and myofacial release to increase your range of motion which relieves pain and stiffness. This results in a deep sense of relaxation, calms the nerves and helps restore healthy nerve and muscle function throughout the body.
Leah applies hand-held hot packs to your sore and tight muscles which greatly assists the process of softening muscles that are becoming tough as a result of injury or years of tension. The moist, penetrating heat of the hot packs also helps you feel nurtured and deeply relaxed.
